A little about me: Growing up shy, I decided to become adventurous as an adult. In between dental school and residency, I’ve taken classes for winter sports. Resulting in a series of hikes and travels through canyons and national parks throughout most of Utah and Arizona. Notable mentions being the Rocky Mountains. Now days, on my time off from dentistry, I binge watch Netflix and travel to far away and remote locations with my partner in crime (husband). During my residency, I fell in love with PA. My path to becoming a doctor: I was born in South Korea and moved to Maryland when I was in middle school. After completing my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, I moved to the snowy state of Utah. I knew I was passionate about the sciences and healthcare in general. It was in Utah that I fell in love with dentistry. Here I pursued and received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Roseman University of Health Sciences. I took an opportunity to extend my training in General Dentistry through an amazing residency at Temple University of Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. Needless to say, I fell in love with PA.
